Scott's latest singles

"Love Me Right"

Scott Mayo’s latest single “Love Me Right” was released in April 2026, with a blend of alto sax and vocals on melody. It is his version of a song originally written by Amber Mark.

In Scott’s words: “I flipped it a little and made it different. I fell in love with this song the first time I heard it and used to bump it ALL the time! Amber, I hope you enjoy my version as much I enjoyed yours.”

"5th of May"

“5th of May” single was inspired by Scott Mayo’s induction into his hometown Rochester Music Hall of Fame on May 5, 2024. Raised in a city where the calibre was and remains high — with Rochester’s own Eastman School of Music, Chuck Magione, and Lou Gramm (all fellow inductees) — the event impacted Scott personally in many positive ways.

The infectious saxophone-led melody, driven by Afro Beat-influenced rhythms, invoke the feeling of taking a summer drive by the ocean. That vibe is depicted in the song’s music video here.

Scott's christmas ep

As a lover of holiday music, Scott Mayo had long wanted to record and produce his own version of a Christmas album.

Each song on the EP are favorites that resonate with him, capturing the imagery and feelings of a picturesque snowy through the poignant and romantic melodies.

Scott's Albums

Scott Mayo has recorded three solo albums. His third album, MeuBrasil was released in 2023. It is his first Brazilian project and features Sergio Mendes, Dori Caymmi and celebrated vocalists Gracinha Leporace and Michael Mayo. The song “Don’t Say Goodbye” was co-written by Scott along with with Mendes and EGOT recipient John Legend.

“This album is an homage to a music and a country that has so deeply shaped my musical life,” Scott Mayo said. “It’s called Meu Brasil because I wanted to share how the music has touched me and, from my Black American perspective, how I feel the music.”

His sophomore album Testimony features his vocals on every song. French music publication “Magazine Karma” described the album as “emotionally personal” and praised his “sincere lyrics” and “sophisticated production.”

Mayo's jazzy debut album Low Angle View showcases his talents as a multi-instrumentalist, while also showing off his professional singing chops in a cover of The Eagles classic, "I Can't Tell You Why."
